There are not that many events where Lita and I both go at the same time. One, the readership of both websites that we manage are quite different; where one focuses on fashion and beauty and the other focuses on mommies related stuff. So you could imagine that there are bound to be few events where our path crosses.
But come to think of it, aren’t mommies female too? They also love to take care of their skin and play around with their makeup. So there’s no surprise that beauty brands are expanding their network too to our sister Mommies Daily. Nowadays, when I go to beauty events, it’s not too uncommon that Lita would go as well.
Like this particular event at Mal Taman Anggrek with SK-II, the highlight of their ‘SK-II Clear for Life‘ campaign, which is held from 3 – 9 December 2012. SK-II Clear for Life campaign has been going on from September, where they invite SK-II customers to bring in their empty Facial Treatment Essence bottle to their counter and in response P&G as the parent company of SK-II will provide clean water to family in needs. This is done through the magic of P&G Purifier of Water, a powder where they can purify water from untreated sources. This is especially helpful especially in disaster areas where clean water is scarce. So if you do have an empty bottle of Facial Treatment Essence, you know what to do with them!

I bought the shoes almost 3 years ago from my holiday trip to Melbourne which I’ve previously worn here too, and I can’t believe that they’re still in mint condition. The leather is still so good and supple. That’s what buying a good pair of quality shoes will give you, one that will last for a very long time.
The skirt, I bought it immediately after I spot it at ASOS because I’ve been in love with the one I tried from RAOUL and since red is one of my favourite colours, I didn’t think twice about purchasing them. As it happens to be, red (or maroon is probably more precise) is the colour of SK-II, which is very fitting to be worn for their event.

And look at Lita, she wore both red top and bag. That day we were both conforming with the dress code very well, donning the touch of red very well.
By the way, if you love SK-II and also happen to be at Mal Taman Anggrek between now to 9 December, don’t forget to see the magical Christmas tree created from empty Facial Treatment Essence bottles with beautiful lighting inside displayed at the main atrium, alongside a real Christmas tree
There are also a lot of activities that you can do at the venue. You can try the nail art, tree decorating, potpourri making, hand massage and plenty more for free for every purchase made. Also, if you’re thinking of stocking your SK-II products, this is the perfect time because there are a lot of Christmas gift set boxes with many products in it. It’s definitely an event you should not miss.
